Med48, Major Evolution
MedYacht has evolved the Med 45, whose prototype was presented in Cannes last year. Numerous modifications have altered the perceived image of the boat, which is now named Med 48, without losing its strong personality.
Since the first publication of the project in Neptune (issue 167) under the name Med 42, we have witnessed all the stages of the birth of a boat and the often complex journey that leads to the finished product.
MedYacht became known for importing and distributing Al Dahen open boats, sleek deep-V hulls, powered by outboard engines and built at the eponymous shipyard in Bahrain, in the Persian Gulf. When MedYacht decided to produce a boat under its own name, the choice naturally turned to Bahrain for construction.
